Since 1997, Marina Securities Services has been providing quality security services to the San Francisco Bay area. Our ability to provide theses serves is enabled not only by the quality and integrity of our personnel (discussed above), but also by the operational procedures defined in our Operations Manual that supplements and supports the training we provide to our security force.

Well-defined policies and procedures are critical to ensure effective, but unobtrusive security services. On-site personnel must be well-trained and able to respond to the routine aspects of the job, such as maintaining a patrol log, as well as be prepared to respond to infrequent events, such as health emergencies or suspected criminal activity. A well-trained team with detailed operational procedures is also necessary to ensure service continuity. Marina Securities places a heavy emphasis on pre-screening potential employees and providing a quality work environment once an employee has been hired. As a result, our employees are highly motivated and are far less likely to quit an assignment – meaning turnover far below what is typical for the contract security industry.

Marina Securities Services recognizes that the need for having well defined policies and procedures goes beyond simply having a well trained security force. It is essential to document not only the routine policies and procedures that the “feet on the street” must follow, but also the behind the scenes activities that are critical to managing an effective security engagement. One area frequently neglected by other security firms and sometimes overlooked by the client is transition management -- that is the process of switching from one security firm to another. Our Operations Manual details the process for assuming a new engagement, as well as transitioning an engagement to a new security firm. It is this attention to detail that has allowed Marina Securities to grow throughout its 10 year history, and will ensure that Marina Securities continues to provide quality security services to its existing and future clients.
